Case Study
Infinity Benchmark, located in Salt Lake region of Kolkata, is a huge 20 storied, 71.64 meter high building covering a floor are 560,000 square feet. It offers infrastructure solutions to IT and ITES industries. The developers began the project with the objective of producing an environment-friendly built environment that would change the mindset of the city dwellers and developers about being content with the traditional building methods. It became Kolkata’s first platinum rated structure on its completion, starting a trend that will ensure a better living environment for the dwellers of this city of joy. Their architectural uninventiveness combined environmental values with a futuristic outlook to ensure a structure that rated high on each count-water conservation, energy use optimization, waste management and protection of environment.
It is a Platinum rated Green Building as certified by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) under LEED Core & Shell ver. 2.0. This is amongst 7 such buildings in the world, 2nd outside USA and the first in eastern India. The building has the maximum flexibility and cost efficiency for activities ranging from wet laboratories to software development, IT services, and even data centres. Well connected roads and with the nearby International airport, Infinity Benchmark is easily accessible for the working community. Tenants are also within the building such as restaurants, cafes, food court, business centres, ATMs, banks, medicine shops.
